printing was first started on woodblock this was widely used in East Asia with
a technique of printing images, texts and many different kinds of pattern. Firstly
printing was practiced on clothes as people used to make their art of things on
clothes with the help of textile printing, then later on paper was launched for
printing purposes and the techniques were changes for a printer to adopt papers
and after it became popular in different cities and now is famous in the whole
world.

conventional printing are;

chemical properties are maintained between them with the example like; collotype,
offset lithography and screen less printing.

Relief; is the type in which printing is done
on a plane area and non-printing is done below the surfaces, for example
letterpress and flexography.

Intaglio; in this non printing is on the plane
area and printing area is etched below the surface, for example gravure and
steel die engraving.

Porous; in this the area of printing is on the
fine mesh screen in which ink can penetrate and the areas where screen is blocked
over stencil with the flow of ink in the areas of non-printing.
