One of the widely used printing processes is
printing by Offset Press that has been in use from 1875. It is a method where
inked images are transported from a plate to a rubber blanket and then finally
to surface where it needs to be printed. A vital step for this process is
production of the pre- press, where files are finalized and accurately
processed for final printing after conversion it into the colour model of CMYK.
There are two types of Offset printing Sheetfed and Web. A simple way to
understand is that it uses both water and ink for the process. Water is spread
to places where ink is not needed while ink sits on that surface.
This kind of printing gives high image
quality. It is quick and easy. Also, it is the cheapest ways of printing for
commercial use. Usage of ink can also be controlled manually, so there is less
wastage plus density of the colour of images could too be adjusted. After the
process is done, ink either sits to dry naturally or goes through a drying
process.

It is necessary to get these things from a good place or an authentic shop. Not
only because with low quality of your printing materials your effort goes
wasted plus your print quality is too, of a bad grade. If inks are not used of
a premium quality, then there is also a risk of your costly machineries getting
ruined. Inks are usually made up of water, dyes, pigments and glycol. It may
not be waterproof. Toner particle size also plays an important role, smaller
the sizes of a toner particle better are the resolution of images. The re- fills
are also easily available in market so as the duplicates.
There had been a personal experience when I
had to print an article on a huge bulk and the medium chosen was digital
printing. For testing, I had printed five articles on digital and five in offset
press. The result was amazing with later. Surprisingly, quality was splendid
and most importantly it was very cost effective. Graphic

were satisfactory too. Then onwards I always opted for offset press for any
kind of printing I needed for commercial use.
Offset Press is the most commonly used form of printing that
is used for commercial prints. It can provide high- quality images for high
quantity works. Due to which is most preferred by all publishing industries as
it provides good service that is also cost effective. But just getting materials from any shop is
never going to work. You need to find a place where they provide good quality
of the above mentioned products as then only good work could be expected. Or
else, you would just end up on venturing new products that do not give desired
results.
